Technical Product / Project Manager (Jira Expert)

Role OverviewWe are looking for a versatile Technical Product / Project Manager with deep Jira expertise to lead digital product delivery and optimize our agile development workflows. In this role, you will bridge product strategy and execution—managing project roadmaps, guiding cross-functional teams, and configuring our Jira Software and Jira Service Management (JSM) ecosystems to ensure seamless execution and executive visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Management: Lead cross-functional software teams, manage project scopes, timelines, resources, and deliver digital products on schedule.
• Jira Administration & Optimization: Configure custom Jira workflows, issue types, permission schemes, and automation rules to streamline project management processes.
• Agile Leadership: Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, Retrospectives) and champion best practices across teams.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Management: Build custom dashboards, velocity tracking, and roadmap reports in Jira/Confluence to align executive leaders and client stakeholders.
• Product Backlog Ownership: Collaborate with engineering and client teams to define user stories, prioritize backlogs, and write technical specs.
• Process Standardization: Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Owners to standardize Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and hybrid project methodologies across the company.
• Training & Support: Act as the primary internal subject matter expert (SME), onboarding staff, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining documentation in Confluence.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Project Manager managing digital product delivery.
• Jira Proficiency: Hands-on proficiency configuring Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Plans, and automation for project teams.
• Agile Mastery: Demonstrated expertise leading Scrum/Kanban delivery frameworks for web and mobile software developments.
• Workflow Engineering: Proven experience configuring advanced workflow logic (conditions, validators, post-functions) and multi-project automation rules.
• Integrations: Practical experience managing Atlassian ecosystem apps/plugins and connecting third-party toolchains via webhooks or API.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Atlassian Certification.
• Familiarity with resource management, time-tracking tools (e.g., Tempo), and Advanced Roadmaps / Jira Plans.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced agency or IT consultancy delivering custom web/mobile solutions.
