Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with expertise in Salesforce development to join our dynamic team. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Salesforce applications and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Salesforce platform development, programming skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

What is the focus of the role?

Salesforce Developer role is to design technical architecture solutions that span multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Analytics, Social, Communities) and include integration and authentication across systems; manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale; articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, robust, and high-performance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other Salesforce platform capabilities.
  • Implement Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and other enterprise integration patterns.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI designers, QA, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
  • Ensure solutions are maintainable, follow development standards, and are properly documented.
  • Participate in reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development, security, and coding best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years of experience in Salesforce application development.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security guidelines and features.
  • Proficient in Apex, SOQL, Flows, LWC, Salesforce APIs, and other Salesforce platform capabilities.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using SOAP, REST, and other integration patterns.
  • Working knowledge of any CPQ platform.
  • Familiarity with automation test frameworks.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and/or II
  • Experience with Salesforce application development, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud (Community Cloud).
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
