Lead – AI Automation & Digital Transformation

1. Key Responsibilities

  • A. AI Agents, Bots & Workflow AutomationDesign and deploy AI agents and bots to automate business processes.
  • Build automated workflows using Python, n8n, Power Automate, UiPath, or equivalent tools.
  • Automate data collection, document processing, email classification, task allocation, approvals, reminders, and management reporting.
  • Develop AI solutions to extract, analyze, validate, and organize structured and unstructured data.
  • Implement workflow orchestration, exception handling, audit trails, and human approval mechanisms.
  • B. Trade, Manufacturing & Supply Chain AutomationAutomate end-to-end purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes.
  • Digitize RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, sales contracts, supplier management, and customer order tracking.
  • Develop systems to monitor raw materials, production, quality checks, inventory, warehouse movements, and dispatches.
  • Automate import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs-related documents.
  • Integrate shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, delivery tracking, and transaction-level profitability.
  • Establish transaction visibility across all group companies.
  • C. Global Market Research & Commercial IntelligenceDevelop AI-powered research systems for international minerals and metals markets.
  • Build structured databases of global buyers, suppliers, manufacturers, importers, exporters, commodity traders, and logistics providers.
  • Automate market research by commodity, country, trade route, demand, supply, and business opportunity.
  • Collect and analyze data from authorized trade databases, public registries, and market intelligence platforms.
  • Implement data enrichment, duplicate detection, company classification, contact verification, and database updates.
  • Generate actionable market intelligence reports for commercial and business development teams.
  • D. Trade Finance, Banking & Investment IntelligenceBuild databases of international banks, NBFCs, trade finance institutions, private credit funds, alternative lenders, and investment institutions.
  • Develop tools to identify suitable funding sources based on geography, commodity, transaction type, collateral, and financing requirements.
  • Automate lender research, eligibility screening, outreach, follow-ups, and financing pipeline tracking.
  • Organize financing documents, transaction data, KYC requirements, and due diligence checklists.
  • Automate monitoring of letters of credit, bank guarantees, receivables financing, invoice discounting, trade loans, and working capital facilities.
  • Develop dashboards for funding proposals, lender engagement, sanctions, disbursements, repayments, and outstanding obligations.
  • E. Group MIS & Management DashboardsDevelop centralized MIS dashboards for multiple group companies and international operations.
  • Consolidate data from ERP, accounting systems, spreadsheets, databases, emails, and operational applications.
  • Automate daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
  • Build dashboards covering procurement, production, sales, shipments, inventory, profitability, working capital, cash flow, receivables, and financing.
  • Set up exception-based alerts for timely management intervention.
  • Establish standardized reporting definitions, data quality controls, and entity-wise access permissions.
  • F. Systems Integration & Technology ArchitectureDesign scalable databases, APIs, data pipelines, workflow engines, and internal applications.
  • Integrate ERP, CRM, accounting, document management, and communication platforms.
  • Develop secure cloud-based or hybrid technology infrastructure.
  • Implement role-based access, encryption, logging, monitoring, backup, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable data protection, cross-border data transfer, and commercial data licensing requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, source code repositories, testing processes, and deployment standards.
  • 2. Mandatory Technical QualificationsStrong proficiency in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and backend development.
  • Hands-on experience developing AI agents, LLM integrations, tool-calling systems, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
  • Practical experience with n8n, Power Automate, UiPath, or equivalent automation platforms.
  • Experience in database architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, data extraction, validation, and integration.
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or equivalent relational databases.
  • Experience with Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools.
  • Experience integrating ERP, CRM, finance, and third-party business applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Git, CI/CD, testing, and production monitoring.
  • Ability to independently develop, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot production-ready solutions.
  • 3. Preferred Industry ExperienceInternational trade and commodity trading operations.
