About the role

You'll take unclear problems and turn them into reliable, production-grade systems. You won't get a detailed spec. You'll get a problem, context, and the freedom to decide how to solve it. You'll own the full lifecycle: understanding the problem, designing, building, shipping, monitoring and iterating.

We're AI-native. You'll use coding agents and agentic workflows daily to move faster, and you stay fully accountable for everything you ship.

We don't hire based on familiarity with a particular programming language, framework, or technology stack. We value strong fundamentals, problem-solving ability, learning speed, engineering judgment, and the ability to deliver working software.

What You'll Do

• Own features and services end to end, from discovery and design through deployment and monitoring
• Work across backend, data, infrastructure, integrations and AI-powered workflows, depending on what the problem needs
• Make and defend architectural trade-offs (performance, cost, complexity, speed)
• Debug production failures, find root causes, and improve observability and resilience
• Build internal tools and automations that remove repetitive engineering work
• Prototype quickly, validate assumptions, and turn what works into production code
• Use AI agents, tool calling and MCP integrations to compress delivery cycles, and review their output critically
• Raise the bar on code quality and engineering practices through your own work and reviews

Must have

• 2-4 years building and running production software
• Strong fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, databases, OS/networking basics, concurrency, system design
• Experience across more than one domain, such as backend/APIs, data-heavy systems, queues and async processing, cloud and deployment, third-party integrations, or AI/LLM applications
• Comfort entering an unfamiliar codebase and learning a new language or tool when the problem demands it
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools, and the judgment to catch hallucinations and hidden failure modes in generated code
• A track record of finishing things: shipping, then fixing, then measuring impact

Strong plus

• Experience at a product company or on a high-scale system
• Performance, reliability or data-consistency work with measurable results
• Internal tools, automation, or agent-based workflows you've built
• Frontend or mobile exposure
• B.Tech/B.E. in CS, IT, ECE, EE or a related field, ideally from a strong engineering program

• System design: an open-ended design problem sized to a real scale
• AI-assisted build: solve a task with an AI agent while we watch how you steer, verify and test
