The Opportunity:
As a Senior Pricing Analyst at Credibly, you will be a key driver of our revenue and pricing strategy, directly influencing our competitive edge by translating complex datasets into actionable pricing logic, reporting to the Lead Pricing Analyst within the Risk Analytics and Data Science department of the organization. You will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, participating in the full development life cycle of our proprietary pricing algorithms. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate data effectively. At Credibly, your pricing models directly influence how small businesses access growth capital, giving you a direct line to revenue impact and executive decision-making.
What You Will Do:
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Analyze market dynamics, competitor pricing, and customer segment performance to capture market share profitably.
- Margin Optimization: Identify market trends and behavioral patterns to uncover opportunities for margin optimization and volume growth.
- Data Pipelines: Build, maintain, and validate robust data pipelines as the single source of truth for pricing logic, ensuring integrity and auditability.
- Executive Dashboards: Design and manage automated dashboards providing real-time visibility into Pricing KPIs for leadership.
- Python & Code Deployment: Write, test, and deploy production-level Python code to optimize our core pricing engine, using Git for version control.
- Pricing Simulations: Develop and iterate on pricing simulations using historical data to forecast what-if scenarios.
- A/B Testing & Deep Dives: Conduct ad-hoc deep dives and A/B test analyses to validate pricing hypotheses.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as an analytical consultant for business stakeholders, translating commercial needs into technical requirements.
Who You Are:
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Data/Pricing Analyst with success in pricing strategy, preferably in Financial Services/FinTech.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and production-level Python (Git). Familiarity with AI tools like Claude/Claude Code with an AI-forward mindset.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills for executive stakeholders.
- Remote Collaboration: Proven track record operating productively and collaborating cross-functionally in a remote/distributed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree: Master's Degree holder in a quantitative field (Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related).
- Domain Expertise: Experience with pricing simulations, A/B testing, or risk-adjusted return modeling.
- Generative AI: Practical experience applying Generative AI or LLMs to accelerate coding tasks, analytical workflows, model documentation, or automated reporting.
