Role Description The AI/ML role at Google in the Greater Nashik Area is a full-time, on-site position focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models and systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and prototyping new algorithms, building scalable data pipelines, training and evaluating models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product management, engineering, and UX. The role involves working with large datasets, performing data preprocessing and feature engineering, and deploying models into production environments with robust monitoring and performance tuning. Team members document their work clearly, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions. This position also offers opportunities to stay current with AI/ML advancements and apply them to real-world products and services.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning concepts, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML (e.g., Python, C++, or Java) and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX).
• Ability to work with large-scale data, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and use of SQL or similar tools for data querying.
• Experience building, testing, and deploying production-ready ML models, including use of APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliable, maintainable code.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams and present technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in applied AI/ML for search, recommendation systems, natural language processing, computer vision, or related domains is a plus.
