Full-Stack Product Engineer — Founding Technology Team
Full-Stack Product Engineer — Founding Technology Team
Location: Delhi NCR / Hybrid
Experience: 4–8 years
Employment: Full-time
Company: Fandoro Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
About Fandoro
Fandoro is building technology for responsible businesses and investors.
Our SaaS platform brings together ESG data, sustainability reporting, risk assessment, climate intelligence and workflows to help businesses and capital allocators make better decisions.
We are now expanding the platform with a new AI and data layer.
We are looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Product Engineer to become one of the core members of our technology team.
The Role
You will own a large part of the actual Fandoro product—from database and APIs to dashboards and user experience.
This is not a narrowly defined frontend or backend position.
We want a strong product engineer who can move comfortably between:
Backend → Database → APIs → AI integrations → Frontend → Deployment
You will work closely with the AI/Data Lead and Founder to turn product ideas into production software.
What you will build
* Fandoro’s web application and dashboards
* ESG data collection and management workflows
* Investor and portfolio dashboards
* ESG scoring and risk interfaces
* ESG CAP/remediation workflows
* Reporting workflows
* AI-powered product experiences
* APIs and third-party integrations
* User authentication and role-based permissions
* Maker-checker and approval workflows
* Document upload and processing workflows
* Admin interfaces
* Notifications and workflow automation
* Integrations with external data and climate APIs
Technology
Our preferred stack is approximately:
Frontend
* React
* Next.js
* TypeScript
* Modern component libraries
Backend
* Python
* FastAPI
* REST APIs
Database
* PostgreSQL
* Redis where appropriate
* Vector databases / pgvector where appropriate
Infrastructure
* Cloud deployment
* Docker
* CI/CD
* Monitoring and logging
The exact stack is open to discussion.
We care more about engineering judgement and ability to ship than familiarity with one particular framework.
What we’re looking for
* 4–8 years of software engineering experience
* Strong experience building web applications
* Strong backend fundamentals
* Good React/TypeScript experience
* Strong Python or willingness to work extensively with Python
* Experience with REST APIs
* Strong SQL/PostgreSQL knowledge
* Understanding of authentication, permissions and application security
* Experience integrating third-party APIs
* Ability to work with AI/LLM APIs
* Good understanding of cloud deployment
* Ability to take a feature from idea → design → development → testing → deployment
You should be comfortable doing this
A product requirement comes in:
“We want an investor to see the ESG risk of all companies in their portfolio and drill down into the reasons.”
You should be able to think through:
Database → API → business logic → AI integration → dashboard → permissions → deployment
without needing five different people to make it happen.
A major plus
Experience with:
* B2B SaaS
* ESG / sustainability
* FinTech / financial services
* Data-heavy applications
* AI products
* Analytics dashboards
* Workflow platforms
* Document processing
* Enterprise integrations
What this role is NOT
This is not a role for someone who wants to work exclusively on:
* Frontend UI
* Backend APIs
* A single microservice
* Maintaining an existing codebase
You will be part of a very small founding technology team.
You will have significant ownership and influence over the product and architecture.
The kind of person who will thrive here
You are:
* A builder
* Curious
* Comfortable with ambiguity
* Product-minded
* Able to make decisions independently
* Comfortable learning new technologies
* Interested in AI, not just traditional software development
* Excited by the opportunity to build something from an early stage
Compensation
We will meet the industry standards.
How to apply
Please send:
1. Your CV/LinkedIn profile
2. Links to 2–3 products you have built
3. GitHub, if available
4. A short note answering:
“If you joined Fandoro tomorrow, what would you look at first in our technology architecture before building new features?”
We care more about what you have built, how you think and how independently you can operate than about certifications.
