Design, develop, and maintain enterprise search solutions using Apache SOLR. Build NLP-based applications using spaCy and Python. Configure SOLR indexing, schema design, analyzers, tokenizers, faceted search, and ranking mechanisms. Develop information extraction, entity recognition, text classification, and document processing solutions. Create and optimize search relevance models and query performance. Design and implement REST APIs for search and NLP services. Develop custom NLP pipelines and language models using spaCy. Process and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. Perform performance tuning, search optimization, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with Data Scientists, Architects, Product Owners, and Engineering teams. Required Skills Strong experience with Apache SOLR administration and development. Hands-on expertise in spaCy NLP framework. Strong programming skills in Python. Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts such as: Named Entity Recognition (NER) Text Classification Tokenization Lemmatization Part-of-Speech (POS) Tagging Sentiment Analysis Information Extraction Experience with Lucene-based search engines. Knowledge of SOLR indexing, querying, search relevancy tuning, faceting, and schema management. Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture. Familiarity with JSON, XML, and data processing techniques. Experience with version control tools such as Git. Preferred Skills Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch. Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for NLP. Experience with Vector Search, Semantic Search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or Generative AI technologies. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
