About the Role

Lead Full Stack Developer – Government & PSU Digital Transformation Programs. Lead the design, development, implementation, deployment, and support of enterprise-grade web and mobile applications for Government and PSU digital transformation initiatives. Responsible for full-stack development, technical leadership, code quality, platform scalability, and successful delivery of mission-critical solutions. Primary Objective: Build secure, scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly digital platforms supporting citizen services, governance processes, workflow automation, and public sector transformation programs.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, implementation, deployment, and support of enterprise-grade web and mobile applications for Government and PSU digital transformation initiatives.
Build secure, scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly digital platforms supporting citizen services, governance processes, workflow automation, and public sector transformation programs.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies while ensuring adherence to coding, security, and quality standards.
Lead development teams, perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, mentor developers, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Develop responsive web applications, enterprise portals, workflow solutions, mobile-enabled platforms, dashboards, reporting systems, and citizen-facing applications.
Develop user interfaces using Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Material UI, and responsive design principles.
Build scalable APIs, business services, microservices, workflow engines, and integration components using Java Spring Boot, .NET Core, Node.js, or equivalent frameworks.
Design and develop RESTful APIs, secure APIs, API integrations, and reusable services following enterprise standards.
Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
Develop and deploy cloud-native microservices using container-based architectures and modern development frameworks.
Integrate applications with Aadhaar, DigiLocker, Payment Gateways, GIS Platforms, SMS/Email Gateways, ERP Systems, DMS, SSO platforms, and Government services.
Develop and deploy solutions on Azure, AWS, GCP, Government Community Cloud (GCC), and hybrid cloud platforms.
Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security scanning, release automation, and deployment processes.
Implement secure coding practices, OWASP guidelines, authentication mechanisms, authorization frameworks, encryption controls, and audit logging requirements.
Optimize application performance, scalability, database queries, caching strategies, and application responsiveness.
Support unit testing, integration testing, automation testing, performance testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution activities.
Participate in production deployments, issue resolution, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and application stabilization.
Experience working on Citizen Service Portals, e-Governance Systems, Smart City Platforms, Healthcare Systems, Education Platforms, Social Welfare Systems, Regulatory Platforms, Land Management Systems, Taxation Systems, or similar Government/PSU applications.
Experience working in Fixed Price Project (FPP) environments with understanding of scope adherence, quality goals, milestone-based delivery, and schedule commitments.
Team leadership, mentoring, code review, effort estimation, task planning, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution.
Willingness to travel to customer locations, Government Departments, PSU offices, and project sites as required.

Qualifications

14+ Years of overall software development experience with minimum 5+ years in technical leadership roles.
Minimum 3+ years of experience working on Government, PSU, Public Sector, or e-Governance projects.
Must have successfully contributed as a Lead Developer or Senior Full Stack Developer in at least 2-3 large Government or PSU Digital Transformation Programs.
Must have participated in requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, production rollout, and post-go-live support for a minimum of 2-3 Government/PSU projects.
Experience supporting production deployments, release management activities, defect triage, issue resolution, and hypercare support during go-live phases.
Experience in large enterprise applications involving multi-department implementations, citizen-facing portals, workflow automation systems, regulatory platforms, or applications serving large user bases.
B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
