Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PHP Web Developer role based in Delhi, India. The PHP Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications and institutional portals using PHP and related technologies. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code, integrating front-end components with back-end services, debugging and optimizing applications, and ensuring security and performance standards. The role involves collaborating with academic and administrative teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, supporting existing systems, and participating in code reviews and documentation. The developer will also help improve development processes and stay current with best practices in web technologies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Back-End Web Development and PHP-based Software Development.
- Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming skills.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Front-End Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for integration with PHP applications.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with databases (MySQL or similar), version control systems (such as Git), and basic web security practices.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with experience building and deploying web applications.
- Beneficial skills include knowledge of MVC frameworks (such as Laravel or CodeIgniter), RESTful APIs, responsive design, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
