ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Frontend Developer will design, build, and optimize user-facing features for FRNSup’s web platform.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Implementing responsive interfaces and shipping UI that works across devices
• Translating UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, efficient code
• Ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend developers for seamless experiences
• Improving performance, accessibility, and speed of key user flows
• Participating in code reviews, maintaining documentation, and contributing to feature planning and iteration

This is a full-time, remote role.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong proficiency in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design
• Solid Web Development and Software Development fundamentals (version control, testing, performance)
• Familiarity with Back-End Web Development concepts for API integration and system collaboration
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (React preferred; Vue or Angular acceptable)
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first design
• Ability to work independently remotely, manage time, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in Ed-Tech, social networking, or community-focused products is an advantage
