Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Node.js, backend development, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications. Experience working with Agentic AI, Generative AI, or AI-powered applications is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build high-performance RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities and intelligent workflows where applicable.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and application developers to integrate LLMs, AI agents, and AI services into production applications.
• Develop APIs and services that support AI agents, tool calling, workflow orchestration, and automated decision-making.
• Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available backend architectures.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and develop efficient data-access layers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, architecture decisions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with teams across India and the US while working US shift timings.Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Strong experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Experience with API security, authentication, authorization, and integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred – Agentic AI / Generative AI Experience

Experience with Agentic AI or Generative AI is highly preferred. Candidates with hands-on experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
