Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Lead Service Developer/Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, solution architecture, and API performance optimization. The candidate will lead service development, ensure high-quality technical delivery, mentor junior developers, and support production systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java 8+, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Build and integrate REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, SOA, and event-driven architectures.
Drive solution architecture, design patterns, integration frameworks, and software engineering best practices.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and distributed caching technologies such as Redis and Apache Ignite.
Optimize API performance, resiliency, caching, and messaging using Kafka and MQ.
Use AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Windsurf, with an understanding of efficient token utilization.
Participate in production support rotations and resolve incidents within agreed timelines.
Mentor junior developers and offshore teams, reviewing design, code quality, and delivery timelines.
Apply object-oriented analysis and design, coding modularity, algorithms, and prototyping practices.
Monitor application performance using Datadog, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure successful technical delivery.Mandatory Skills
12+ years of overall software engineering experience.
10+ years of hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Strong experience in REST, SOAP, microservices, SOA, and event-driven architecture.
Solution architecture, design patterns, and integration frameworks.
SQL and NoSQL databases.
AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Windsurf.
API performance optimization, resiliency, caching, and messaging platforms.
Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.Additional / Preferred Skills
Redis and Apache Ignite.
Kafka and MQ.
Datadog, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
AWS cloud experience.
AI/ML/NLP exposure.
Financial services industry experience is highly preferred.Candidate Expectations
