AI Engineer / Full-Stack AI Developer (Remote, Full-Time)

We’re building a proactive, personalized AI companion that understands people across different parts of their lives, offers meaningful guidance, and checks in with them over time.

We already have a live application. Now we’re looking for a hands-on engineer to evaluate our architecture, improve the product, and help us move faster.

What you’ll do

Review and improve our existing codebase and AI architecture

Build and optimize LLM features using OpenAI, Anthropic and other AI tools

Develop AI memory, personalization, context awareness and proactive engagement

Build front-end and back-end features

Integrate third-party APIs, notifications, voice and external services

Improve performance, scalability, reliability and security

Work directly with the founders on product strategy and priorities

Own projects from concept through deployment

What we’re looking for

3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally on AI-powered apps

Strong full-stack skills (React, React Native, Node.js, Python or similar)

Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs

Understanding of AI agents, memory systems, prompt engineering, RAG and conversational AI

Experience with cloud infrastructure, databases, APIs and deployment

Voice AI (STT/TTS) and mobile app experience is a plus

Independent, fast-moving, and product-minded: you suggest improvements, not just tickets

Requirements

🕘 Must work US Eastern (EST) hours

🗣️ Fluent English required
