About the Role

RTAC is looking for a Frontend Application Engineer to develop scalable web interfaces for business applications and software products. The role combines modern frontend development, API integration, responsive design, and performance optimisation to deliver reliable, user-focused applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interactive web applications using JavaScript, React.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Translate business requirements and UI designs into reusable, maintainable frontend components.
• Integrate REST APIs and manage dynamic data across application workflows.
• Optimise application responsiveness, rendering performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot frontend defects and improve existing application features.
• Collaborate with backend developers and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong foundation in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
• Working knowledge of React.js, component-based architecture, and modern frontend practices.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and browser debugging tools.
• Exposure to Tailwind CSS, state management, and frontend performance optimisation is an advantage.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
