Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with 2–5 years of experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, Django/Flask/FastAPI, REST APIs, Microservices, SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD, with a strong foundation in System Design, OOP, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Python.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices using Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
• Design, optimize, and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code following OOP, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
• Develop unit and integration tests using Pytest and ensure code quality through debugging and code reviews.
• Implement authentication, authorization, secure API integrations, caching, asynchronous processing, and background jobs.
• Contribute to System Design, software architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and high-availability solutions.
• Build and maintain Docker-based applications, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment workflows on AWS/cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Frontend, QA, DevOps, and Product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver end-to-end features.
• Troubleshoot production issues, monitor application performance, mentor junior developers, and continuously improve coding standards and development practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in Python/backend development with strong proficiency in Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI, preferably including Django REST Framework.
• Strong expertise in building REST APIs, Microservices, and scalable backend architectures.
• Excellent understanding of OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and System Design.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, including database design and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, and collaborative code review workflows.
• Experience with AWS/cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
• Strong knowledge of Pytest, unit/integration testing, debugging, logging, monitoring, and application performance optimization.
• Good understanding of authentication and authorization, including JWT/OAuth, along with secure API development practices.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix, asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and high-availability concepts.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and Agile/Scrum skills.
