Java full stack developer with react experience

Job Description

We are seeking a Java Developer (React Experience) to build and enhance scalable web applications using Java-based backend services and modern React front-end interfaces. You will work closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, high-performance features across the full software development lifecycle.

Location & Work Mode

This role is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. -WFO (All 5days)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Build responsive UI components using React (Hooks, Context/Redux) and integrate with backend APIs.
• Implement robust security practices including OAuth2/JWT, role-based authorization, input validation, and secure coding guidelines.
• Optimize application performance through profiling, caching strategies (e.g., Redis), efficient database queries, and asynchronous processing.
• Write clean, testable code with unit/integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) and front-end tests (Jest/React Testing Library).
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and technical design discussions.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers to improve overall code quality.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production troubleshooting in partnership with DevOps/SRE teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–9 years of hands-on experience in Java development with strong OOP and design patterns knowledge.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST API development, and microservices architecture.
• Working experience with React (functional components, Hooks) and state management (Redux or Context API).
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).
• Understanding of messaging/async patterns (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and caching concepts (Redis) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Git, build tools (Maven/Gradle), and CI/CD practices (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts is desirable.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (Java), AWS Certified Developer – Associate, or Spring Professional Certification are advantageous.
