What "vibe coding" means here. You describe the outcome in plain language, let AI agents write most of the code, then test, steer and harden the result. The job is judgement, speed and quality control, not typing every line by hand.

Key responsibilities

Your time splits between two kinds of build; the mix will shift with the sales pipeline.

Client PoCs and demos (pre-sales)

• Turn a client problem statement in FCC, GRC, fraud or data into a working prototype within 3–10 working days.
• Build demo apps and dashboards on synthetic or anonymised BFSI data, never live client data unless contractually cleared.
• Pair with pre-sales consultants to shape the storyline, then make the demo run reliably in front of a client.
• Wire prototypes to Sciente's partner stack (Dataiku, Denodo, Neo4j) and to LLM APIs where the use case needs it.
• Package each PoC with a short README, setup steps and known limitations so others can reuse it.Internal tools
• Build automations and small apps for sales, recruitment, delivery and finance teams (for example, proposal generators, CV screeners, pipeline trackers, report builders).
• Talk to the internal user, ship a first version fast, then iterate on their feedback.
• Maintain a reusable library of components, prompts and templates so each new build starts further ahead.Engineering hygiene (non-negotiable)
• Read and understand every line the AI writes before it ships; you own the code, not the tool.
• Use Git, code review, basic automated tests and secrets management on every project.
• Follow Sciente's ISO 27001 information security controls and data protection obligations.
• Know when a prototype has outgrown vibe coding and hand it to a full engineering team with clear documentation.

Requirements

Must have

• 3–6 years building software, data apps or analytics products, with real code fundamentals (you can debug without the AI).
• At least 12 months of daily, hands-on use of AI coding tools, with a portfolio of things you shipped this way.
• Strong Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript; comfortable with REST APIs, SQL and one modern web framework.
• Experience calling LLM APIs and writing structured prompts, including basic retrieval (RAG) patterns.
• Ability to deploy a working app to a cloud environment and keep it running.
• Clear written and spoken English; able to explain a demo to a non-technical client.Nice to have
• BFSI exposure, especially financial crime compliance (FCC), AML, fraud, risk or regulatory reporting.
• Hands-on with Dataiku, Denodo or Neo4j (including Cypher or graph-based RAG).
• UI/UX sense: you can make a demo look credible to a bank's senior management.
• Experience with agentic workflows or multi-agent tooling.
