Role Description:

We’re looking for a Node.js Developer with strong backend development expertise and hands-on experience building AI-powered applications. You will primarily work on developing scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud-based applications while also building and integrating AI capabilities into our products.

We’re looking for someone who understands backend architecture and can work with LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and modern AI frameworks to develop practical, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
  • Build secure, high-performance applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Develop REST APIs, GraphQL services, microservices, and database integrations.
  • Build and integrate AI-powered features using LLMs and modern AI frameworks.
  • Develop RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search systems, and AI agents.
  • Implement AI workflows involving tool calling, multi-step execution, and task automation.
  • Work with hosted and open-source LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Llama, and Mistral.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments, primarily using AWS.
  • Optimize backend performance, database queries, and AI application reliability.
  • Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
  • Working proficiency in Python for AI application development.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and backend architecture.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or other relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience developing LLM-powered applications, RAG systems, embeddings, and vector database integrations.
  • Practical experience building AI agents, tool-calling workflows, or multi-step AI applications.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, cloud deployments, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to independently develop, integrate, deploy, and maintain production applications.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience deploying or self-hosting open-source LLMs.
  • Exposure to model fine-tuning, LoRA/QLoRA, quantization, and inference optimization.
  • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, or Weaviate.
  • Familiarity with vLLM or Hugging Face TGI.
  • Basic knowledge of Flutter and Dart.
  • Experience building fintech, healthcare, or enterprise applications.
