Product Manager - Product Solutions
Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and results-driven Product Manager to join our Product Solutions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining product strategy, developing and managing the product roadmap, translating business requirements into technology solutions, and driving products through the complete lifecycle from ideation to implementation and continuous improvement.
This role requires a strong understanding of business, technology, and customer experience, along with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Candidates with prior experience in the insurance industry, particularly those who have worked on insurance products, platforms, or technology implementations, are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and execute product vision, strategy, objectives, and roadmap in alignment with business and organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities for new products, features, and enhancements based on customer needs, business priorities, and market trends.
- Prioritize product initiatives based on business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives.
- Establish clear product goals, success criteria, and measurable outcomes.Requirements & Product Definition
- Work closely with business stakeholders, customers, and subject-matter experts to understand business needs and challenges.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, process analysis, and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Translate business requirements into product requirements, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and digital transformation.
- Ensure requirements are clearly documented, prioritized, and communicated to development teams.Insurance Domain & Product Experience
- Work closely with insurance business stakeholders to understand insurance products, processes, workflows, and customer journeys.
- Leverage insurance-domain knowledge to define and enhance technology-enabled products and solutions.
- Participate in the implementation and enhancement of insurance products and platforms.
- Understand business and functional requirements related to insurance operations and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
- Evaluate opportunities to improve insurance products, processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.Product Development & Delivery
- Partner with engineering, architecture, UX/UI, QA, and other teams to drive successful product development and delivery.
- Translate product requirements into scalable, reliable, and high-quality digital solutions.
- Participate in solution and design reviews and ensure alignment with product objectives and requirements.
- Track product delivery milestones and proactively identify and resolve risks, dependencies, and impediments.
- Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure product readiness for implementation and release.Product Performance & Analytics
- Define and monitor key product KPIs and performance metrics to measure product success and business impact.
- Analyze product performance, customer feedback, usage trends, and business data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Use data-driven insights to support product decisions and continuously optimize product performance.
- Drive continuous improvement through feedback, experimentation, retrospectives, and iterative enhancements.Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with business, engineering, architecture, design, QA, marketing, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage expectations, priorities, and dependencies.
- Facilitate discussions, drive alignment, resolve conflicts, and support timely decision-making.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and progress effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Market & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, customer expectations, and competitive developments.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.
- Incorporate market insights and customer feedback into product strategy and roadmap decisions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification is preferred.
- 6–9 years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, or related roles.
- Insurance industry experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience working with insurance products, platforms, solutions, or technology implementations.
- Demonstrated experience managing products through the end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Strong experience in product strategy, roadmap development, requirements management, and product delivery.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable and scalable technology solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate effectively with engineering and architecture teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, and other product/project management tools.
