Role Description The Management Information Systems (MIS) Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore. This role is responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining MIS processes to support hotel operations, finance, and management decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and validating operational and financial data, generating regular and ad hoc reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring data accuracy and timely distribution to leadership. The MIS Manager will collaborate with finance, operations, and front-office teams to analyze trends, optimize resource utilization, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves coordinating with IT resources to ensure system reliability, data security, and continuous improvement of reporting tools and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Management Information Systems (MIS), including report automation, dashboard creation, and data management.
• Understanding of finance concepts relevant to hospitality operations, such as budgeting, revenue tracking, and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of information technology tools, such as spreadsheets, databases, and reporting software, and familiarity with data analytics techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
