Role Description The Salesforce AI Engineer will design, implement, and optimize AI-powered solutions integrated with the Salesforce ecosystem in a full-time remote capacity. This role involves building and maintaining machine learning models, configuring Salesforce features to leverage AI capabilities, and developing robust, scalable software components that support business workflows. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, perform data analysis, and translate business needs into technical designs and prototypes. Day-to-day responsibilities include integrating AI services and APIs, implementing NLP-based features such as intelligent search and chatbots, tuning pattern recognition algorithms, and ensuring code quality through testing and documentation. The role also includes monitoring performance, addressing production issues, and continuously improving AI models and Salesforce configurations in line with best practices and security standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and API integration.
• Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, with the ability to design, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models.
• Practical knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text processing, entity recognition, intent classification, and conversational AI.
• Experience working with Salesforce platform (e.g., Apex, Lightning, Salesforce APIs) and integrating AI or ML services into CRM workflows.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used for AI/ML (such as Python or Java) and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Ability to analyze complex data sets, define metrics, and build data pipelines that support AI-driven features within enterprise environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and familiarity with MLOps or CI/CD practices is beneficial.
