Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in IT Project Management to lead and deliver complex data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and experience with Databricks, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, or Lakehouse implementations. This role requires a proactive leader who can take full ownership of project execution, ensuring successful delivery while maintaining strong customer centricity.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of project execution, including planning, execution, delivery, and monitoring results with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence (BI), and Cloud teams to ensure successful implementation of projects.
• Define and maintain all project plan documents related to scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
• Monitor each stage of project implementation to ensure adherence to best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, and risk management.
• Understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions, ensuring strong customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, decisions, and requests.
• Escalate critical risks and issues in a timely manner to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with the business Quality Management System (QMS) and organizational governance standards while maintaining execution agility.
• Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
• Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer.

Mandatory Skills

• 12-15 years of experience in IT Project Management.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum Framework, or hybrid methodologies.
• Experience delivering Azure Databricks, AWS Data Lake, Data Warehouse, or Lakehouse implementations.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure Cloud and AWS.
• Knowledge of Data Engineering concepts, ETL/ELT, data governance, and analytics solutions.

Preferred Skills

• PMP certification, Prince 2, or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification.
• Exposure to Agentic SDLC approaches using MS copilot 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects successfully.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
