Senior AI Agent Developer (Remote — India)

Role Description : As a Senior AI Agent Developer (Remote — India), you will design, build, and optimize AI agents and agentic workflows for real-world applications in a full-time, remote capacity. You will architect system designs, implement backend services and integrations, and develop robust prompting and orchestration logic for LLM-based agents. On a day-to-day basis, you will prototype and test new agent behaviors, analyze performance metrics, and refine models and pipelines for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, review code, and guide best practices across the team. You will also contribute to technical documentation, participate in system design discussions, and mentor junior developers to elevate the overall technical quality.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in software engineering with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar) and experience building production-grade backend services and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with large language models, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, custom tool-calling pipelines), including prompt design, evaluation, and optimization.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), microservices, and data pipelines, with the ability to design scalable and resilient architectures.
• Background in algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns, with attention to code quality, testing, observability, and performance tuning.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, databases, and external tools into AI workflows, and familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance considerations for AI solutions.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate effectively across time zones, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and document designs and decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in AI/ML or agentic systems at a senior or lead level is highly beneficial.Nice to have
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation)
• FastAPI, Django, or React/Next.js
• n8n, Make, Zapier, or other workflow-automation tools
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or Machine Learning Specialty)
• Experience building agents for SMBs, customer service, sales, or operations
• Familiarity with SOC 2, or similar compliance requirements
• Experience with LLM evaluation tools (LangSmith, Ragas, or custom harnesses)
