C++ Middleware Developer
Join a team building next-generation Automotive Infotainment (IVI) solutions for connected vehicles. As a C++ Middleware Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of middleware framework components and software modules powering advanced in-vehicle systems.
Your Role
You will be responsible for developing middleware services, defining software interfaces, and delivering high-quality software solutions for automotive infotainment platforms. Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, architects, and global teams, you will ensure robust, scalable, and high-performance software delivery across the development lifecycle.
- Analyze and define software requirements, interfaces, and middleware architectures.
- Design, develop, and maintain middleware framework components and services.
- Develop software modules for Automotive Infotainment (IVI) head units.
- Implement and support middleware lifecycle management functionalities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to integrate system components and features.
- Participate in software architecture reviews, integration activities, and technical workshops.
- Perform C++ development, code reviews, unit testing, and debugging activities.
- Support software integration, build management, release management, and deployment processes.
- Develop, flash, and validate applications on IVI head-unit hardware platforms.
- Create and maintain high-level design, low-level design, source code, and test documentation.
- Work closely with distributed teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Your Profile
- Strong programming expertise in Modern C++ (C++14/C++17 or above).
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based development, build systems, deployment, and debugging.
- Strong experience in IPC mechanisms, MQTT, HTTP, and CommonAPI frameworks.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
- Experience in developing and maintaining middleware services and framework components.
- Strong knowledge of Automotive Infotainment (IVI) system architecture.
- Understanding of UML modeling and software design methodologies.
- Experience with software version control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and module testing.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
