Role Description This is a full-time, remote Java Web Developer role focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications and services. The Java Web Developer will design and implement server-side logic, integrate front-end components, develop RESTful APIs, and ensure application performance, security, and scalability. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, testable Java code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, reviewing code for quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders. The role also involves participating in requirement analysis, contributing to architectural decisions, documenting technical solutions, and supporting deployments and production monitoring. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a remote environment while coordinating effectively with distributed team members.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including building and maintaining server-side components and APIs.
• Candidates should possess solid Web Development skills, with experience in web application architecture, integration, and performance optimization.
• Candidates should possess proven Software Development skills, including working with SDLC processes, version control, and testing practices.
• Candidates should possess robust Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, particularly in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic knowledge of SQL is beneficial.
• Familiarity with RESTful services, microservices concepts, and web security best practices is highly preferred.
• Experience with build and deployment tools (e.g., Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines) and cloud or virtualized environments is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, distributed team are essential.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or comparable practical experience, is desirable.
