We are looking for top notch SDEs to be part of our world class business software development team.

DSP (Delivery Service Partners) are medium and large sized 3rd party businesses delivering packages from amazon last mile delivery stations to the customer on behalf of Amazon. The team’s global mission is to become Amazon’s logistics labor capacity of choice by building the provider network required to support Amazon’s growth and meet customer expectations for any deliveries, at any time of the year through scalable, innovative, and low cost operations, and in a way that both delights customers and empowers DSPs and their Delivery Associates.

The DSP DA Lifecycle Management (DALCM) team enables DSPs to onboard over 1 million DSP DAs (Delivery Associates) across 23 countries annually. We own the end-to-end DSP DA lifecycle, from hiring signals, application, qualification management, compliance monitoring, ramping up for success, and offboarding — equipping DSPs to manage their active workforce by maintaining DSP DA profiles and required documents, tracking qualification validity, capturing workforce attributes, and surfacing proactive signals when action is needed.

SDE2s in this team will be independent problem solvers creating business impact through their tech deliverables. They will learn, grow and create a lasting impact to business and their careers while having fun at work.

Key job responsibilities

As an SDE in the team, you will be responsible for -

  • Ownership of product/feature end-to-end for all phases from the development to the production.
  • Ensuring the developed features are scalable and highly available with no quality concerns.
  • Work closely with peer engineers for refining the design and implementation.
  • Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in collaboration with business and project management efforts.
  • Mentor and coach team SDEs

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
