Role: Senior Power BI & GenAI Consultant

Job Description:

• 9+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Power BI development.
• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and visualization.
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports for US clients and business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms.
• Implement GenAI/AI capabilities into BI and analytics solutions using technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or LLM-based applications.
• Build AI-powered analytics solutions including natural-language querying, automated insights, report summarization, anomaly detection, and conversational BI.
• Integrate Power BI with Azure OpenAI / REST APIs / Python where required.
• Develop and optimize semantic models, star schemas, calculated measures, KPIs, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Optimize Power BI reports and datasets for performance, scalability, and large-volume data.
• Work directly with US business users, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate business problems into analytics solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, solution design, code reviews, deployment, and production support.
• Follow CI/CD, Git, deployment pipelines, governance, security, and Power BI administration best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with US-based clients across different time zones.Key Skills:
