Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

At Healthify, we're building technology that helps millions manage their health through scalable consumer applications, backend systems, and AI-powered products.

We're looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer with hands-on expertise in React, TypeScript, Python, and system design. You'll own features end-to-end—from translating Figma designs into polished user experiences to building scalable backend services and optimizing production systems.

What You'll Do

• Frontend: Build responsive, production-ready applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Next.js. Work on frontend architecture, state management, rendering, and performance optimization.
• Backend: Design and develop APIs, services, and background jobs using Python, Django, or FastAPI.
• Databases & System Design: Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, caching, indexing, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Performance & Scalability: Identify bottlenecks and improve application reliability, latency, and infrastructure efficiency.
• AI Engineering: Integrate LLMs, AI agents, and intelligent workflows while leveraging AI-assisted development tools effectively.
• End-to-End Ownership: Drive features independently from design and implementation through deployment and production support.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• Strong hands-on experience across both frontend and backend development.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend architecture.
• Production experience with Python and Django or FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, HTTP, networking, caching, and system design.
• Experience building, deploying, and scaling applications used by thousands of users or more.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into polished product experiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, engineering fundamentals, and independent ownership.Good to Have
• Experience building products from scratch and working with complex codebases.
• Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, LangChain, or LiteLLM.
• Knowledge of Redis, message queues, asynchronous processing, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience optimizing performance, scalability, and infrastructure costs.
