🔥 ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Linux/RHEL administration.

This role focuses on Azure infrastructure architecture, Linux systems, hybrid infrastructure, migration, troubleshooting, security, performance, HA/DR and enterprise operations.

⚠️ Important: This is primarily an Azure Cloud Infrastructure + Linux Architecture role — NOT a DevOps-focused position.

☁️ MUST-HAVE | AZURE INFRASTRUCTURE

Strong hands-on experience with:

✅ Azure Virtual Machines / VM Scale Sets

✅ Azure Virtual Network (VNet), Subnets, NSG, Route Tables & UDR

✅ Azure Load Balancer / Application Gateway

✅ Azure VPN Gateway / ExpressRoute

✅ Azure Storage Accounts / Managed Disks

✅ Azure Backup / Site Recovery (ASR)

✅ Azure Monitor / Log Analytics

✅ Azure DNS

✅ Azure Key Vault

✅ Azure RBAC / Managed Identity

✅ Availability Sets / Availability Zones

✅ Azure provisioning, administration & troubleshooting

✅ Azure migration & hybrid connectivity

✅ High Availability & Disaster Recovery

✅ Production infrastructure operations & performance tuning

🐧 MUST-HAVE | LINUX / RHEL

Strong enterprise Linux administration experience, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Experience with:

🔹 Linux installation & configuration

🔹 OS patching & upgrades

🔹 User/group & permission management

🔹 Filesystems, LVM & storage

🔹 Systemd, services & process management

🔹 TCP/IP & network troubleshooting

🔹 DNS, SSH & NFS

🔹 Package management

🔹 Performance monitoring & tuning

🔹 System logs & troubleshooting

🔹 Security hardening

🔹 Production Linux troubleshooting

⚙️ MUST-HAVE | AUTOMATION & SCRIPTING

Hands-on experience with:

✅ Terraform – Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

✅ PowerShell

✅ Bash / Shell Scripting

✅ Azure CLI

➕ Ansible is an advantage

Experience automating Azure infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring and operational activities is highly desirable.

The successful candidate should be able to:

✔️ Lead infrastructure design and architecture

✔️ Perform complex root-cause analysis

✔️ Troubleshoot Azure, Linux, networking, storage and connectivity issues

✔️ Design HA/DR and backup strategies

✔️ Develop infrastructure standards and operational procedures

✔️ Support enterprise production environments

✔️ Provide technical leadership to infrastructure teams

🎯 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

🔹 10+ years overall Infrastructure / Systems experience

🔹 Strong hands-on Azure Infrastructure experience

🔹 Strong Linux/RHEL administration experience, preferably 8–10+ years

🔹 Azure architecture, implementation, administration & migration

🔹 Strong Terraform + PowerShell + Bash/Shell experience

🔹 Enterprise production troubleshooting experience

🔹 Strong understanding of compute, networking, storage, backup, monitoring & security

🔹 Hybrid infrastructure experience

🔹 Strong architecture and problem-solving skills

Experience with:

• Windows Server 2012–2022+
