IdentityIn is an AI-powered Career & Network Intelligence Platform built to transform career development from a one-time decision into a continuous, lifelong journey. We combine artificial intelligence, human coaching, professional networking, labour market intelligence, and personalized learning into a single ecosystem — serving students, graduates, professionals, parents, recruiters, enterprises, and institutions.

We're early-stage, building with real traction (working prototype + strong primary research validation across our core personas), and now looking for the technical co-founder who will help take this from prototype to a fundable, scalable product.

About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Co-Founding Member to join as Chief Product Officer / Product Head — someone who will own product, technology, and engineering strategy as a true founding partner, not an early hire. This is a builder's role: you'll shape the roadmap, make the architecture calls, and help translate our vision into a product investors and users both trust.

This role is offered on a sweat equity basis — no salary at this stage. It's built for someone who wants to build a company, not join one.

What You'll Do

• Own IdentityIn's end-to-end product and technology roadmap — from current prototype to scalable, investor-ready platform
• Lead architecture and technical decisions across AI/ML, data, and platform infrastructure
• Build and eventually lead the engineering team as the company scales
• Translate the founding vision into a coherent, sequenced product strategy — what gets built, in what order, and why
• Partner directly with the Founder & CEO on the product and technical narrative for fundraising
• Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to every decision — this is 0→1 building, not maintaining an existing system

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience preferred in product management, engineering, or technology leadership, with a strong AI/ML background
• In exception cases, we may consider candidates with less experience also
• A proven track record of building products, owning roadmaps, and driving strategy — ideally including early-stage or 0→1 experience
• Genuine entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, fast decisions, and building without a fully resourced team
• Based in Bangalore
• Someone who wants to co-own the outcome, not just execute a spec
