Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft BI / Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL Server, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and ETL.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Gather reporting and analytics requirements from business stakeholders.
- Develop complex data models using Power BI / Tabular models.
- Write optimized DAX measures, calculated columns, and calculations.
- Perform data transformation and cleansing using Power Query (M).
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Connect Power BI with SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, and other data sources.
- Implement appropriate star schema and dimensional data models.
- Configure Power BI workspaces, datasets, reports, and dashboards.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and appropriate access controls.
- Optimize Power BI reports, DAX calculations, datasets, and refresh performance.
- Set up and manage scheduled and incremental data refresh.
- Work with data engineers and business teams to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot reporting, data, refresh, and performance issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and BI development standards.Mandatory Skills
