8+ years of software development, with 3+ years in life sciences or clinical data.

  • Hands-on working knowledge of:
  • CDISC SDTM: domains, variables, controlled terminology and mapping.
  • CDISC ADaM: ADSL and BDS structures, derivations and traceability back to SDTM.
  • MDR concepts: metadata models, versioning, governance and how standards flow downstream.
  • Strong programming in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, including building and maintaining notebooks, jobs and data pipelines.
  • Experience with Azure Storage (ADLS): data organisation, access and integration with Databricks.
  • Working knowledge of other Azure services, plus a solid grasp of Azure cloud fundamentals such as identity and access, networking basics, security and cost awareness.
  • Experience with GitHub for version control, branching and code review.
  • Experience setting up or working within CI/CD pipelines for build, test and deployment.
  • Experience in GxP or computer system validation (CSV/CSA) environments.
  • Agile/Scrum delivery experience.Desirable
  • CDISC define.xml, SEND, CDASH or Biomedical Concepts.
  • USDM or digital protocol standards.
  • REST APIs and JSON-based data exchange.
  • SAS, or an understanding of SAS-based statistical programming handoffs.
  • Experience with a commercial clinical MDR or study build platform.
