SAP Mobility Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Mobility Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM), Syclo, SAP Gateway/OData and SAP BTP Mobile Services.

You will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, enhancing and supporting SAP mobile solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise applications.

This is a hands-on technical role involving SAP mobility architecture, mobile application configuration, OData services, offline synchronisation, security, middleware integration and production support.

Key Responsibilities

SAP SSAM / Syclo

• Configure, administer and support SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM).
• Manage the Syclo Configuration Panel and mobile application settings.
• Configure personas, features, exchange objects, mobile data objects and application assignments.
• Implement and support online/offline mobile synchronisation.
• Configure device policies, mobile security, logging and application lifecycle management.
• Support SSAM implementations, upgrades and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot synchronisation, metadata and deployment issues.
• Configure push notifications and mobile destinations.

SAP BTP Mobile Services

• Configure and administer SAP BTP Mobile Services.
• Create and manage mobile applications within BTP.
• Configure destinations, authentication, onboarding and connectivity.
• Manage mobile application lifecycle and deployment.
• Configure OAuth, SAML, Principal Propagation and Identity Authentication.
• Support mobile security standards and governance.
• Work with Cloud Foundry and Neo environments.
• Configure and support the Mobile Application Integration Framework (MAIF).

SAP Gateway & OData

• Design, develop and enhance OData services using SAP Gateway.
• Implement CRUD operations, deep inserts, function imports, associations and navigation.
• Support media handling and batch processing.
• Configure and maintain System Aliases, Gateway activation, SICF services and service registration.
• Configure and support relevant authorisation objects.

Integration & Middleware

• Integrate SSAM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP FSM and third-party applications.
• Support REST and OData-based integrations.
• Configure and support SAP Cloud Connector.
• Participate in API design and governance.
• Support BTP API Management and API integrations.
• Collaborate with enterprise integration teams.

Production Support

• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor mobile application health and synchronisation performance.
• Support incident, change, problem and release management.
• Coordinate deployments and production releases.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM).
• Strong Syclo configuration and administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Gateway and OData.
• Experience with SAP BTP Mobile Services administration and configuration.
• Experience integrating SAP mobile solutions with SAP S/4HANA.
• Understanding of mobile architecture, offline synchronisation and mobile security.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Connector and REST/OData integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Experience delivering or supporting SAP mobility implementation projects.

Desirable Skills

• Experience migrating SAP mobility solutions to SAP BTP Mobile Services.
• SAP API Management and/or Apigee experience.
• Experience with Android and iOS enterprise mobility deployments.
• Experience with SAP FSM.
• SAP Mobility, Gateway or BTP certifications.
• Experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA environments.
