Senior Backend Developer .NET

What This Role Is About

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and high-performance services using C# and .NET 5 or later. You will own back-end features end to end, from API and data design through deployment and monitoring, and work closely with front-end, mobile, and product teams to deliver reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Architect scalable, maintainable solutions using clean architecture, domain-driven design, and microservices where appropriate.
• Design database schemas and write efficient queries using Entity Framework Core, Dapper, and SQL.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and ASP.NET Core Identity.
• Build background processing, scheduled jobs, and event-driven workflows using message brokers and queues.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, including caching, indexing, and async patterns.
• Write unit and integration tests, and enforce code quality through code reviews and static analysis.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerize services, and support cloud deployments.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Document APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and collaborate with front-end teams on API contracts; mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

Work Experience

• Experience: Minimum 5+ yrs of experience in mobile app design.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, design, or a related field.
• Certification: Any .NET certifications are good to have.
