Role Description The Product Manager will be responsible for defining, building, and optimizing WIN’s digital and experiential products, including content platforms, event formats, and community engagement initiatives. This full-time, on-site role in New Delhi involves working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, conduct market and user research, prioritize features, and manage product roadmaps. The Product Manager will oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, coordinate with design, content, technology, and partnerships teams, and track performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clear product requirements, facilitating stakeholder alignment, monitoring product usage and feedback, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of product enhancements that support WIN’s mission and growth.

Qualifications

  • Product management skills, including roadmap planning, requirements gathering, and end-to-end lifecycle ownership.
  • Experience with user and market research, data analysis, and translating insights into product decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (content, technology, design, marketing, partnerships) and manage stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
  • Background in digital platforms, community products, or media/events is highly beneficial.
  • Proven organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, communications, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Interest in global issues such as sustainability, innovation, AI, and culture, and alignment with WIN’s mission.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and taking ownership of outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesBacklog Management

● Own, refine, and prioritize the Product Backlog so it always reflects current business and customer priorities.

● Break product strategy down into epics and user stories, each with clear, testable acceptance criteria.

● Keep improving backlog quality and the team's delivery flow.

Vision & Strategy

● Work with product leadership to understand the roadmap, and give the Scrum team a clear, motivating picture of where the product is going.

● Turn product strategy and stakeholder requests into well-defined backlog items.

Sprint Planning & Execution

● Take an active part in Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

● Keep a steady pipeline of refined, ready-to-work items for the development team.

● Answer the team's requirement questions quickly so the sprint stays unblocked.

● Review completed work and accept it against the agreed acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Management

● Serve as the main point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Support, and Operations.

● Balance competing demands and manage expectations with tact.

● Explain priority decisions and their reasons openly to all stakeholders.

Value Optimization

● Weigh business value, risk, and technical debt to make sound prioritization trade-offs.

● Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure product success.

● Track delivery progress and adjust the backlog based on data and lessons learned.

User Advocacy

● Run user research, analyze market trends, and bring customer feedback together into clear product insights.

● Make sure the team builds features that solve real customer problems.

Required Skills

● Product Ownership: Deep expertise in product ownership, with strong backlog management and prioritization skills.

● Specification Writing: Extensive experience writing PRDs, specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, release notes, and decision documents.

● Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to tailor content for executives, technical teams, and end users.

● Analytical Thinking: Strong critical analysis skills and careful attention to detail.

● Ownership & Autonomy: A track record of working independently and meeting deadlines in a remote setting.

● Remote Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams across time zones, both live and asynchronously.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience: 3-5 years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment.

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

● Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO).

● Tools & SDLC: A solid grasp of the software development life-cycle and hands-on use of tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

● AI/ML Exposure (a plus): Experience with AI/ML-driven products, such as model evaluation, feedback loops, or data annotation workflows.
