AEO / GEO Engineer

At DoableClaw, we build AI agents that help brands show up in AI search. When buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity what to buy, our agents show a brand whether it gets named, who gets named instead, and which pages the AI relies on. Then they help fix the gaps.

We want an engineer who knows how AI engines find, read and cite pages, and who builds that know-how into our agents.

What you'll own

AEO Checks Our Agents Run

• Build the checks our agents run on client sites: can AI crawlers reach the page, robots.txt, llms.txt, server-rendered content
• Check what makes a page easy for AI to quote: answer-first structure, schema (JSON-LD), entities, FAQs
• Turn every finding into a fix a developer can ship

AI Citation Engineering

• Build how our agents run buyer questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews
• Parse the answers: which brands are named, which pages are cited, and why
• Run tests on client pages, change one thing, keep what gets cited

AI Visibility Measurement

• Track AI citations, share of answers and visits from AI engines for each client
• Read server logs to see which AI bots visit and what they fetch
• Build the dashboards clients see, and be the technical voice on client calls

Build with AI

• Use Claude Code, Cursor or Codex to write scripts, audits and agent tools yourself
• No filing tickets and waiting on someone else

Shaping the Product

• Spot what stops pages getting cited across clients, and turn it into new agent checks
• Work directly with the founding team

What we're looking for

• Read and write code (JavaScript or Python), work with APIs and can deploy
• Know how AI engines find, pick and cite sources, and are already testing it
• Know technical SEO: you can find why a page isn't indexing and fix it
• Are hands-on with schema, llms.txt, Search Console and GA4
• Are comfortable with Next.js / React rendering (SSR, SSG)
• Can explain technical issues to clients in plain words

Experience: 2-4 years in AEO / GEO / Technical SEO / FullStack Development / Growth Engineering

Preferred experience in:

• Hands-on AEO/GEO work with citation results you can show
• Building scripts, automations or AI agents
• Technical SEO at a B2B SaaS company or agency
• Client-facing implementation or solutions roles
