We are looking for a Project Manager who can bring structure, prioritisation and accountability to an evolving technology product — someone who can translate business feedback into a clear roadmap and drive delivery from planning through release.
The Opportunity
This is not a conventional project-tracking role. You will take ownership of product delivery, working closely with Product, Engineering, QA, UI/UX, Infrastructure and business stakeholders across India and the US.
You will help establish clear delivery milestones, define Phase 1 closure criteria, structure Phase 2 and ensure that the team focuses on the right priorities at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product delivery: Establish clear scope, milestones, deliverables, owners and target dates across product development and releases.
- Drive roadmap execution: Translate business objectives and user feedback into a prioritised, actionable product backlog.
- Prioritise effectively: Evaluate requests based on business value, user impact, urgency, effort, dependencies and technical feasibility.
- Establish delivery discipline: Define Phase 1 completion criteria, structure Phase 2 and maintain a practical roadmap for subsequent releases.
- Partner with Engineering: Work closely with technical leads and developers to understand estimates, dependencies, architectural constraints and delivery risks.
- Manage Agile delivery: Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, release planning and delivery tracking.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams: Align Product, Engineering, QA, UI/UX, Infrastructure and business stakeholders on priorities and commitments.
- Manage risks and dependencies: Maintain RAID logs, resolve blockers, manage scope changes and communicate delivery risks proactively.
- Drive quality and release readiness: Coordinate UAT, defect resolution, acceptance criteria, deployment readiness and post-release validation.
- Leverage AI in delivery: Use tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot or equivalent to improve analysis, prioritisation, problem-solving and delivery effectiveness — beyond routine documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Technical Project Management, Software Delivery or Technology Programme Management.
- Proven experience delivering software products, platforms or enterprise applications through the SDLC.
- Mandatory PMP certification and CSM, PSM or an equivalent recognised Agile/Scrum certification.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, backlog management, sprint planning, release management and delivery governance.
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project or similar project management tools.
- Strong stakeholder management, risk assessment, dependency management, resource planning and change control skills.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into clear priorities, actionable deliverables and measurable outcomes.
- Confidence in challenging assumptions, managing competing priorities and making evidence-based delivery recommendations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams across time zones.
Good to Have
- Experience in SaaS, HRTech, ATS, CRM, recruitment technology or enterprise product development.
- Exposure to APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data products or AI-enabled applications.
- Experience working with US-based stakeholders and cross-functional global teams.
- A technical background in software development, systems engineering or solution delivery.
What Success Looks Like
- A clearly defined and executable product roadmap.
- Transparent priorities, accountable owners and realistic delivery commitments.
- A well-defined Phase 1 closure and structured Phase 2 plan.
- Faster feedback-to-delivery cycles and fewer unresolved dependencies.
- Improved collaboration between business stakeholders and Engineering.
- Measurable improvements in product quality, usability and delivery predictability.
