Job Description
Requirements: - At least 7 years of professional software development with a focus on full-stack development of web applications. - Solid full-stack development in the following: JavaScript/Typescript, Angular/React/Vue, Python, PostgreSQL, Flask/Django, AWS, and Docker. - Knowledge of CSS and layout best practices, box model, positioning, and debugging layout issues. - Experience with UI frameworks. - Responsive UI design experience. - Solid cross-browser compatibility and working around browser-specific issues. - Ability to debug both client and server-side code. - Knowledge of OO fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms. - Familiarity with development under MacOS, including CLI utilities. - CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or Travis. - Familiarity with revision control (Git) and pull-request branch/merge model. - Familiarity with deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS. - Ability to absorb, understand, and communicate written and verbal information and ideas and to deliver them in a concise manner that is easily understood by others. - Ability to apply critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. - Ability to step up and lead the charge to keep up with changes in requirements from time to time. - Handhold junior members of the team to help them execute their responsibilities.
