Shopify Developer - Contractual Role

At NextArch Labs, we're looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to join us on a long-term engagement for one of our client.

This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale, enterprise-grade Shopify eCommerce platform involving advanced custom development, third-party integrations, and scalable architecture.

🚀 What You'll Be Doing

✅ Develop and maintain scalable Shopify websites and custom themes.

✅ Build complex custom business features tailored to enterprise requirements.

✅ Develop reusable Shopify components, sections, snippets, templates, and custom functionalities.

✅ Integrate Payment Gateways, Shipping Providers, ERP, CRM, Inventory Management Systems, and other third-party platforms.

✅ Build custom APIs and middleware for seamless data synchronization.

✅ Customize Shopify using Liquid, JavaScript, Shopify Functions, GraphQL & REST APIs.

✅ Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and overall user experience.

✅ Collaborate closely with UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, Project Managers, and Client Stakeholders.

✅ Troubleshoot production issues and deliver clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

🎯 Required Skills & Experience

✔️ 2–4 years of hands-on Shopify Development experience.

✔️ Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and Responsive Web Development.

✔️ Deep understanding of Shopify Online Store 2.0, Theme Architecture, Custom Sections, Metafields, Metaobjects, Templates, and Snippets.

✔️ Experience building custom Shopify themes from scratch.

✔️ Strong experience with:

• Shopify Admin API
• Storefront API
• GraphQL
• REST APIs
• AJAX API
• Shopify Webhooks✔️ Hands-on experience implementing complex custom business features and workflows.

✔️ Experience integrating:

• 💳 Payment Gateways
• 🚚 Shipping Providers
• 🏢 ERP Systems
• 📊 CRM Platforms
• 📦 Inventory Management Systems
• 🔗 Third-Party Applications✔️ Experience developing or customizing Shopify Apps.

✔️ Strong understanding of:

• 💱 Multi-Currency
• 🌐 Localization
• 🛍️ International Commerce✔️ Experience implementing:
• Advanced Search & Filtering
• Product Configurators
• Bundles & Promotions
• Dynamic Pricing
• Subscription Models
• B2B & Wholesale Features
• Customer Account Customizations✔️ Strong knowledge of:
• ⚡ Website Performance Optimization
• 📈 Core Web Vitals
• 🔍 Technical SEO
• ♿ Accessibility Best Practices✔️ Proficiency with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and modern development workflows.

✔️ Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

✔️ Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently.
