Compliance Engineering – Technical Developer

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with 4-9 years of experience to support Capital Markets Technology Program. The role focuses on developing intelligent applications and AI-powered capabilities supporting Capital Markets, Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory business functions.

You will be responsible for hands-on development, AI implementation, API development, data integration, and engineering best practices within large-scale banking transformation programs.

Your Key Responsibilities

Design and Hands-on Development

  • Develop and maintai Python-based applications supporting Capital Markets business processes.
  • Build scalable APIs and microservices using FastAPI or Django.
  • Develop AI and machine learning solutions using enterprise-approved frameworks.
  • Integrate applications with banking systems, data platforms, and market data services.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

Technical Leadership

  • Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design data integration and API strategies.
  • Follow engineering standards and secure development practices.
  • Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions.

Quality Assurance

  • Develop automated testing solutions.
  • Support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
  • Ensure compliance with security, performance, and quality standards.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with business analysts, architects, and product owners.
  • Support sprint deliveries and production implementation activities.
  • Assist in mentoring junior engineers.

Required Skills

Skills and attributes for success

  • 4-9 years of software development experience.
  • Strong Python programming expertise.
  • Experience with:
  • FastAPI, Django
  • REST APIs and Microservices
  • LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI frameworks
  • Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn
  • SQL (PostgreSQL) and MongoDB
  • CI/CD and Git
  • Understanding of Capital Markets and Banking operations.

Good to Have

  • Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI APIs.
  • FSO product experience.
  • Exposure to Financial Crime, Risk, or Compliance platforms.
  • Front-end exposure using React or Angular.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud certifications.
  • AI/ML certifications.

Education:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
