We're hiring: Software Engineers (Java Spring Boot + React/Next.js) – eGovernance

COSQ Network Private Limited is building a citizen-facing e-Governance

platform on Java Spring Boot and React/Next.js. We are hiring full-stack

software engineers at four levels to design, build and ship services that

government departments and citizens depend on.

Location: Trivandrum, India (on-site only)

Employment type: Full-time

OPEN LEVELS AND CTC (based on skills and experience)

Lead Full-Stack Engineer (Grade I) – 8+ years total, 6+ in Java/Spring

Boot, 2+ in React/Next.js – ₹11.0 – 13.2 LPA

Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Grade II) – 6+ years total, 5+ in Java/Spring

Boot, 2+ in React/Next.js – ₹9.4 – 11.2 LPA

Full-Stack Engineer (Grade III) – 4+ years total, 3+ in Java/Spring Boot,

1+ in React/Next.js – ₹8.3 – 9.9 LPA

Software Engineer (Grade IV) – 3+ years total, 2+ in Java/Spring Boot,

working knowledge of React/Next.js – ₹7.3 – 8.7 LPA

WHAT YOU'LL DO (ALL LEVELS)

Build REST APIs and business modules in Spring Boot for citizen services,

back-office workflows, approvals, payments, notifications and reports.

Build responsive, accessible screens in React and Next.js: application

forms, status tracking, dashboards and admin consoles.

Model data and write efficient queries in PostgreSQL; follow secure coding

practices for authentication, authorisation, validation, audit logging and

personal data.

Write unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, React Testing Library),

take part in code reviews, and fix defects found in QA and UAT.

Work with the BA, QA and DevOps teams in Agile sprints; keep API

documentation and release notes current.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES BY LEVEL

Grade I (Lead): own solution architecture (microservices or modular

monolith, API contracts, caching, messaging); set coding, testing and

security standards; lead design reviews and a team of 5+; integrate with SSO,

Aadhaar-based services, DigiLocker, e-Sign and payment gateways; give

reliable estimates.

Grade II (Senior): design and deliver core modules end to end; manage

schema changes with Flyway or Liquibase; review pull requests and mentor

junior engineers.

Grade III: deliver features from user story to production with minimal

supervision; integrate third-party services such as SMS, email and payment

providers; support releases and production issues.

Grade IV: implement features and fixes from clear stories and designs; work

with QA to reproduce and fix defects; grow into owning modules.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience at or above your level, as listed above.
Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate and REST API

design; SQL (PostgreSQL).

JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React hooks and responsive design.
Git, Maven or Gradle, Postman, and Agile practices; Docker and CI/CD for

Grade II and above.

Grade I–II: OAuth2/OpenID Connect, JWT, role-based access control, OWASP

Top 10, and experience with Redis and Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Clear communication and a willingness to learn domain rules quickly.

GOOD TO HAVE

Delivery of large government or public-sector portals; knowledge of GIGW

and WCAG accessibility norms.

Experience with multilingual (i18n) interfaces, Elasticsearch,

Swagger/OpenAPI and basic performance tuning.

Exposure to e-Governance, banking, insurance or other workflow-heavy

domains.
