Full Stack Dot Net Engineer
Role Purpose
The Full Stack .NET Developer is a hands-on skilled and detail-orientated technology role responsible for the development of new solutions and the enhancement of the existing portfolio. This role requires a proactive approach to improving platform functionality, ensuring system reliability, and supporting the document management and digital delivery requirement of clients and internal stakeholders. As a .Net Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, resolve issues, and ensure the platform continues to meet the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability.
Must also work closely with all technical areas of the business as well as client facing teams and ensure that all solution and proposition deliveries are being fit for purpose, designed in-line with the overall company’s technology strategy in mind, and delivered on time and budget, satisfying client requirements and the market need while ensuring the platform continues to meet the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to designing and architecting secure, scalable, and efficient solutions.
- Build and maintain applications on the Microsoft stack, employing modern design patterns and best practices.
- Ensure developed application run reliably, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, and optimize platform performance.
- Collaborate on projects that may involve integration between .NET and Java-based systems.
- Provide accurate work estimates and assist with project planning to meet delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-time project outcomes.
- Provide 2nd line support for existing systems, troubleshooting and implementing solutions to maintain smooth operations.
- Track and manage work efforts through Azure DevOps and Jira.
- Conduct regular code reviews, improve code quality, and optimize system architecture for scalability and efficiency.
- Ensure platform compliance with data security regulations (e.g., GDPR) and industry best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for platform enhancements, new features and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with customer service and account teams to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions within the platform.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance the user experience and maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Translate business and customer requirements into effective technical delivery plans.
- Support delivery of customer-facing solutions in regulated environments, ensuring compliance with data protection and security standards.
- Maintain governance around version control, deployment procedures, and rollback strategies.
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and digital transformation initiatives.

- Experience in software development, ideally within document management, customer communications, or a similar domain.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET) relevant to the role.
- Experience with modern web frameworks (ASP.NET MVC, Angular/React, RESTful APIs) and frontend essentials (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with Entity Framework Core, Dapper, or similar ORM frameworks.
- Experience with database management (e.g., SQL), including stored procedures, indexing, and optimization
- Experience with Azure DevOps for work tracking, automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of data security practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR).
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
