About Apra Labs

Apra Labs is a ~60-person engineering company in Derry (NH, USA), Bengaluru and Dubai, founded by engineers with 100+ person-years across computer vision, embedded systems, biometrics and cloud. We build our own products (ApraPipes, our open-source video framework; AVMS, our video management platform; and apra-fleet, our open-source multi-agent orchestration platform) and run engineering programs for enterprise and mission-driven customers across several industries.

We are AI-native. Agents write most of our first drafts, and AI runs inside what we ship.

The Role

Full Stack Engineer – AI-Native. Full time, on-site in Bengaluru, 3–7 years of experience. You own features end to end on one of three tracks:

• Web apps – Cloud-backed business applications: workflow automation, data extraction, AI-assisted review, dashboards

• Mobile apps – Cross-platform field apps with offline sync, on-device and cloud AI

• Video pipelines, streaming and video AI – Edge-to-cloud video on NVIDIA Jetson and DGX Spark: capture, low-latency streaming (RTSP, WebRTC, HLS), video AI and analytics (detection, tracking, search, VLM event understanding), device fleets, playback

The bar is the same on every track: you build with AI, and you ship AI.

What You'll Do

• Build end to end: TypeScript/React web or cross-platform mobile front ends, C/C++, C#/.NET or Python services and APIs, SQL and NoSQL data.

• Direct coding agents (Claude Code, apra-fleet) as your default way of working. You write the spec, tests and agent instructions; you review and own every line.

• Ship LLM features in production (extraction, summarization, classification, search, video understanding, copilots) behind typed contracts, evals and cost budgets.

• Expose systems to agents through MCP servers with auth, audit and data redaction.

• Run what you ship: CI/CD, containers, Azure/AWS, observability.

You Have

• 3–7 years shipping production web or mobile apps across front end, back end and database.

• Strong C/C++, C#/.NET or Python on the backend; strong TypeScript, React and CSS on the front.

• Daily use of coding agents on real work, and the habit of catching their mistakes.

• At least one LLM-powered feature live in production.

• Git, automated testing, CI/CD and clear written English.

Bonus Points

• MCP servers, agent workflows or eval harnesses you built.

• GStreamer or ApraPipes, CUDA, NVIDIA Jetson or DGX Spark, or video streaming (WebRTC, HLS).

• Work with sensitive or regulated data (PII redaction, de-identification, access control).

• Open-source contributions.
