Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sisense Developer at DVK Analytics. The Sisense Developer will design, develop, and optimize Sisense dashboards and data models to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining data pipelines, configuring Sisense environments, implementing plugins and customizations, and ensuring data accuracy and performance. The role involves collaborating with BI consultants, data engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. The Sisense Developer will also contribute to best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement of the analytics stack, including opportunities to leverage AI-driven features.

Qualifications

• Strong Sisense development skills, including building data models, dashboards, widgets, and implementing Sisense plugins.
• Proficiency in data modeling and SQL, with experience working with relational databases and optimizing queries for performance.
• Experience integrating Sisense with various data sources and APIs, and handling ETL/ELT workflows or data pipeline tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical analytics solutions and design intuitive, user-focused dashboards.
• Familiarity with BI and analytics concepts such as KPIs, metrics, data governance, and visualization best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in troubleshooting Sisense environments, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with remote and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for Sisense customization and automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack tools is beneficial.
