Working hours
Aligned to US Eastern Time: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM ET, which is 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM IST (April to November) or 5:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST (November to March). Occasional later calls with US Pacific customers.
People with Mulesoft / SAP / any platform specific integration or non customer facing experience need not apply. This is a pure customer facing website integration role.

About the Role
As a Web Integration Engineer you are the technical owner of getting Brightedge live on our customers' websites. You will lead customers through requirements, scoping and solution design, work hands-on with their web developers, agencies and IT teams, and make sure each deployment goes live on time and works correctly.
This is a customer-facing technical role. A typical day includes 3 to 5 customer calls, internal team meetings, code configuration, presentation preparation and troubleshooting. You will work across many content management systems and websites, and with customers from a wide range of industries.
You will be one of the first members of the India Integration team, with the chance to shape how it works and to grow with it.
What You Will Do
- Lead customers through requirements gathering, full scoping and solution design for integration.
- Run customer calls and drive deliverables with demanding clients; provide the code and configuration needed for integration.
- Write design documents and technical specifications for the overall solution.
- Support integration testing, system testing and user acceptance testing.
- Own the deadline for each customer deployment, from planning and implementation through training, business adoption and change management.
- Advise clients on best practices for integration, data migration and website migrations.
- Work with customers' web developers, agencies and IT teams to align on deployment practices, and negotiate where needed.
- Manage many deployments at the same time, following the BrightEdge deployment process every time.
- Follow up after every call, keep Salesforce and internal systems current, and send customers their deliverables promptly.
- Identify performance, data-collection and process gaps, and feed them back to Product Management.
- Build blueprints and automation code, and evaluate tools that improve the deployment practice.
What Success Looks Like
- Brightedge is live on each customer's website within 45 days of the deal closing.
- You comfortably handle at least 15 deployments in parallel without compromising process.
- You follow the deployment process 100% of the time, including Salesforce hygiene.
- You answer customer questions within one business day and act with a sense of urgency.
- You do what you say you will do, internally and externally.
- You learn the playbook quickly and use coaching and feedback to improve.
- You meet your quarterly MBOs.
What You Bring
Required
- 3 to 8 years of experience in web development combined with customer-facing roles (US or European customers preferred).
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with a JavaScript framework such as React, Angular or Node.js.
- Solid understanding of at least one major programming language such as PHP, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET, Python, Java or C++.
- Hands-on web development experience.
- Experience implementing websites or e-commerce sites for multiple customers at the same time.
- Experience leading customer calls and working with technical stakeholders from web developers to IT executives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A bachelor's degree (BE, B.Tech, B.Sc or similar, any discipline).
- Ability to work US Eastern Time hours.A plus
- Experience with SEO or digital marketing.
- Background in a SaaS, platform or martech company.
- Experience with multiple CMS platforms and website migrations.
- Experience in a startup or early-stage environment.
