Role: Strategic Project Lead / Senior Program Lead – Software Engineering

Contract: 3 months, short-term

Looking for a senior technical/program/operations leader who can manage large-scale software engineering programs and distributed technical teams.

Must-have skills:

• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs
• Strong program/project management + operations leadership
• Experience managing distributed teams or large contributor networks
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify bottlenecks and improve quality, throughput, cost, and performance
• Strong customer/client-facing communication
• Technical understanding of software engineering
• Able to read/review code and understand test suites
• Experience with at least one of: Python, TypeScript, Java, Go
• Experience with Python/SQL or similar tools for reporting, analysis, automation, or quality monitoring is highly relevant
• Experience managing 100–1,000+ contributors is a strong match
