About EDT
EDT — short for Everyday Design and Technology — is a Mumbai-based consumer appliance brand founded in 2025 by Naiyya Saggi and industrial designer Vyasateja Rao. The premise is simple and a little stubborn: the everyday devices in Indian homes have been upgraded for decades, but almost never genuinely rethought.
Our first product, LUMA, is India's first 360° PureGlass™ air-fryer oven with NutriRetain™ — a transparent borosilicate bowl, so your food touches only glass. It sold out twice during its preorder cycle and went on to become one of the standout D2C appliance launches on Amazon India this year. FLOW, a PureGlass precision kettle, followed, and we have extended the design language further with Origin Orange. We are now moving into new categories, including beauty-tech.
We sit deliberately between mass-market and ultra-premium: better design, safer materials, honest claims, priced within reach of a modern premium household. Our Amazon business grew close to 7x between March and July 2026. We have also built one of the more unusual customer experiences in the category — an AI kitchen OS on WhatsApp that handles support and recipes with no app download and no onboarding.
A lot of this has been built by a small team in Mumbai, with real input from customers who have co-created products with our design and engineering teams. Plenty is still unbuilt — including the shape of the role you are reading about.
The role
Marketplaces are where most Indian households will meet EDT for the first time. Our Amazon business grew close to 7x between March and July 2026, we are live across Flipkart and quick commerce, and we are adding both SKUs and platforms. You will own that surface — not as a listings coordinator, but as someone running a channel P&L.
What you'll own
- Amazon and Flipkart as a P&L — revenue, margin, ad spend and inventory, not just GMV.
- Catalogue quality: listing creation, A+ content, keyword-led copy, imagery and video, variation and parentage structure, brand store.
- Retail media — Sponsored Products, Brands and Display on Amazon, PLA on Flipkart. You will be accountable for ACoS and TACoS, and for knowing the difference.
- Inventory and operations: forecasting, FBA and F-Assured replenishment, days-on-hand, stockouts, returns and RTV.
- Pricing, buy box health, and event planning — Great Indian Festival, Big Billion Days, Prime Day and the rest of the calendar.
- Quick commerce and new-age retail — Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto, FirstClub, Nykaa. Onboarding, SKU masters, margin structures, city-level availability.
- The relationship with category managers: TOT and margin negotiation, visibility and marketing slots, joint business plans.
- Ratings and reviews health across platforms, and the feedback loop back into product.
- Weekly channel reporting and participation in the SnOP cycle.
- Launching new SKUs from zero — we ship new products often, and each one needs a listing, a ranking plan and a launch plan.
What we're looking for
- 2–5 years managing marketplace accounts for a brand or a seller partner or at a large marketplace managing brands / category
- Hands-on Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central — this one is non-negotiable.
- Working knowledge of Flipkart Seller Hub. Quick-commerce exposure is a strong plus.
- You have run marketplace ad campaigns yourself and can defend your ACoS, TACoS and share-of-voice decisions.
- Strong Excel — comfortable with large order, inventory and settlement datasets without flinching.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Real negotiation experience with platform category managers.
- Detail-obsessed. Catalogue errors are expensive and slow to undo.
Nice to have
- Appliances, electronics or consumer durables background.
- Experience managing 3P seller partners.
- Having taken a brand-new ASIN from launch to category ranking.
A word on how we work
We are small and early. You will talk to category managers, our 3P partners and our ops team in the same afternoon, and you will make calls without a committee. If you want a clearly bounded brief and a long runway, this will frustrate you. If you want a channel of your own and the authority to run it, this is a good seat.
