Business Head – EV Charging & Infrastructure

Role Description The Business Head – EV Charging & Infrastructure will lead the development and growth of the EV charging and infrastructure vertical as a full-time hybrid role based in Noida, with some work-from-home flexibility. This position is responsible for defining business strategy, building partnerships with OEMs, fleet operators, real estate developers, and government bodies, and driving market entry and expansion across key regions in India. Day-to-day activities include overseeing project planning and implementation of EV charging stations, managing P&L, setting performance targets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with technical, operations, finance, and marketing teams to design service offerings, optimize infrastructure utilization, and deliver a reliable customer experience. The Business Head will also monitor industry trends, evaluate new technologies and business models, prepare business cases and proposals, and represent the vertical in internal and external stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business leadership, P&L ownership, and strategic planning in EV, energy, infrastructure, mobility, or related sectors.
• Strong skills in project management, operations oversight, and cross-functional coordination for multi-site infrastructure deployments.
• Proficiency in business development, partnership management, and stakeholder engagement with private and public sector entities.
• Solid understanding of EV charging technologies, regulatory frameworks, sustainability practices, and safety standards.
• Ability to conduct market research, financial analysis, and prepare business cases, proposals, and board-level presentations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
• Prior experience in setting up new business verticals or start-up environments, with an entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven approach.
