Product Manager

Role Description The Product Manager will oversee the lifecycle of forged aluminum products, from concept and design through production, quality checks, and delivery. This full-time, on-site role based in India involves close coordination with engineering, production, quality, and sales teams to define product requirements, manage specifications, and ensure timely execution of orders. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering customer and market requirements, translating them into technical and operational plans, prioritizing product improvements, and monitoring performance metrics such as cost, quality, and delivery timelines. The Product Manager will support pricing and cost analysis, prepare product documentation, and regularly visit the shop floor to align production processes with product goals. The role also includes stakeholder communication, risk identification, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for the product portfolio.
Qualifications
- Strong product management capabilities, including requirements gathering, roadmap planning, and lifecycle management for industrial or manufacturing products.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in metal or aluminium forging, including familiarity with production workflows, quality standards, and safety practices.
- Analytical skills for cost estimation, data interpretation, performance tracking, and decision-making in a production environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers, with the ability to prepare clear reports and product documentation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced on-site setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial management, or a related field; advanced education or certifications in product management or operations is an advantage.
- Experience in the Indian manufacturing sector, especially in metal components or automotive/aerospace supply chains, is beneficial.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and systems used in production planning, documentation, and communication (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office).
